STM32 Arduino STM32L151 support?
« on: September 15, 2019, 06:47:01 pm »
Hi,

I have been playing with STM32 microcontrollers......there's a lot of variants to choose from......and I think I'd like to use the STM32L151 series as it fits my needs perfectly.......but in the Arduino boards manager as much as there's quite a list of chips there is no support for the L151.

Has anyone added this one.....if so can you share your files?

PS. I want to keep the Arduino IDE as I have a lot of libraries developed there.

Ian.

Looks like the L152RE is there: https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32
Maybe you can port it to 151.

Its also possible to use the arduino libraries outside of the IDE.

Hi,
I did actually try that but the 152 listed is a bigger package and although I got the I/O pins changed I got all sorts of other issues......just seemed too different.

I am after the LQFP48 package 151.

I will take a closer look at the 152's though.....thanks.
