Title: TelemetryViewer
Post by: ledtester on May 23, 2026, 03:37:37 pm
I just ran across this cool piece of software:

http://www.farrellf.com/TelemetryViewer/ (http://www.farrellf.com/TelemetryViewer/)

It's designed to collect, graph in real time, save and replay telemetry data from various sources - usually from microcontrollers.

Sources can be from UARTs, TCP and UDP streams, video camera feeds and you can design your own dashboard to present the data. You can also send data to your MCUs (i.e. commands) from the dashboard. Attached below is an example dashboard monitoring a self-balancing robot.

It's been in progressive development since 2016. Version 0.9 was released 5 months ago.

Here's the latest video - it's also featured in other videos in that channel:

It's written in Java but is distributed as a standalone executable. Binaries available for Windows, Linux and Raspberry Pi Linux. And it's open source!
