FWIW Popsci licences their name & some of their content on a country-by-country basis, and uses geolocation to redirect to the local website. What you get depends on where you are - you might get the full story, you might get a badly-mangled cut-down version, or you might get nothing. In this case, in Aus I get nothing but the local Popsci front page, and a search for "DIY stencil" finds nothing.

Basically, linking to their content is useless in many parts of the world. It's been going on for many years, many people have tried to convince them it's a bad thing, but they don't care.

(The quick trick around this sort of crap is to use Google Translate as a proxy - choose a language with a non-Roman characterset (e.g. Arabic), paste the link, and hit translate.)
