uC supporting I2C Master High Speed Mode (3.4Mbps)

does anyone have experience (good or bad) using a uC that supports I2C as a master in HS (3.4Mbps) mode? Not many uC support the high speed mode is what I am finding...

PS.: looks like TI MSP430 supports 3.4Mbps...
