Segger embedded studio can't live watch variables when target is runing

I am using Segger embedded studio8.18+Jlink12 to debug a RISC-V MCU(HPM6284).
I added some global variables to the watch window and set the refresh rate to twice a second.
In fact, the variables are refreshed only when the target stopped. When the target on running, the variables in the watch window are all 0.
Is there something I need to set?

Watch1  != Live Watch

I can't find any "Live watch" window, however in the upper left corner of the watch1 window, there is a frequency setting drop-down box.
I selected twice per second, I think this is the frequency at which the variable is refreshed.
But it doesn't work, the data remains 0 when the target is running.
