Board bring up with ATSAMD20E15
« on: October 18, 2019, 01:58:56 pm »
Hi,
I am trying to bring up a Board using the  ATSAMD20E15 But, I am getting an error from the programmer:

Error could not activate interface. But found a DAP with ID 0xbc11411

I think this maybe due to fuse setting but I can find no guidance documentation on fuse settings. Can anyone
point me in the right direction

Update:  When using the "Device Programming" tab/window I can uncheck the erase flash before programming and verify after programming, then I am able to program successfully and verify. It still won't program from the "Debug" button. I get the follow error  >:( when I do:

Error could not activate interface. But found a DAP with ID 0xbc11411

What does that mean?

This looks like you don't have a reset line connected to the programmer or it can't drive it properly and your firmware goes into a sleep mode.

DAP is a Debug Access Port, which is always active as long as there is a debugger, but debugger can't get into the rest of the system, since it is not awake.

Thanks. I think this was the problem and a bug in studio. Solved by updating. Thanks again.
