« on: August 26, 2020, 10:39:36 am »
I am looking for a PIC Microcontroller which has minimum number of pins but contains 3 ports (A,B,C) and other standard functions. Please some one let me know. BTW, I am new to Microcontroller devices.Thanks.

Do all ports need to have all 8 bits available?

If not, how about: https://www.microchip.com/wwwproducts/en/PIC16F18346

while in theory you could get by with a 28 pin device (8+8+8+MCLR+VDD+VSS+VSS) in reality you have to go for 40/44/48 pin devices, because oscillator and programming pins take up space.
Almost any one of the larger devices will do

Some 28-pin parts have 3 full 8-bit ports - PIC16F15356, for example. If your "other standard features" also require pins then you need something bigger.
