I was given a box of fiber optic stuff and this was included, I believe it may have some value if I can identify what it's from.

1011992-0

The sticker states that it enables "Multirate Capability", clearly for a fiber switch.

looks like a 1 wire dallas eeprom / ID puck, they can be read and even copied like a generic eerprom, but the unique identifier is what makes them harder to clone.

"3200 HW KEY T1 FOR M-RATE CARDS"    https://telasys.com/product/02mbb00007aac/

"The Marconi OMS 3200 (also known as the Ericsson OMS 3200) Optical MultiService Core Switch"

You'd know if you had one:

Sorry for the off-topic, but when I click on the small picture in gnif's post (which looks related what he's talking about in the post) I get as larger picture... the one used in this eBay announce https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Victor-Micronic-Handheld-Computer-Products-M250-Portable-Data-Entry-Unit-/264163021950
Is it just me?

Gnif - by pure coincidence ;) - is working on that problem, it manifests in several threads.
