WIRELESS 4G WI-FI NOT COMPATIBLE

(1/1)

simon christo:
Hi there!! I have a compatibilty issue wuth my 4G Wi-Fi & a Range-Extender.See what you think, why the Laptop see's it, but I can only choose 1 unit at a time in the Wi-Fi Menu - either the 4G Modem or the Range Extender. But I thought both where supposed to work at the same time on Win 10 Pro.See what you think....

Thanks Simon.

Halcyon:
You can only connect to 1 Wi-Fi network at a time.

I'm not familiar with that particular range extender (although just about all of them are garbage anyway), but typically you would have it configured to be part of the same, existing wireless network. You may have to read the manual on how to configure it correctly.

Would you mind not writing your subjects (WIRELESS 4G WI-FI NOT COMPATIBLE) in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, because it looks like you're shouting?
It can irritate some members so much they'll just skip over your threads, and that is unfortunate since they might have been able to help.

In other words, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS fewer members will participate in your threads.

Exactly.  This is basically a hardware limitation.

I can only see that is for 2.4Ghz network, so not compatible with 4Ghz network.
