LCD panel meters, but more than one at the same time
« on: February 28, 2014, 06:04:15 pm »
Hello,

A digital panel meter is very easy to use when used as standalone.

But when one wants to use more than one at the same time, let's say two (e.g. one for voltage measurement, the other for current measurement) things can become difficult beause of things to take care of depending on the meter configuration; common-ground or isolated power supply.

All this 'hidden' stuff is not easy to find in the internet. Well, this is my case, I still don't know how to manage safely two panel meters powered in parallel by the same isolated power supply without blowing them out!

Well, to fix the problem I could use 2 isolated power supplies, but well, even in the hobbyst world we can do better than that.

Thanks,

Efron

This seemed familiar.

Yeap, it was mine.

But I can't still find what is hidden inside common-ground and non common-ground digital panel meters.
