It seems that you have just bumped spam links up from the depths. I see no purpose in this unless you are a spammer yourself. other than to assist the spammer.

I put it down to the original poster's ignorance, or perhaps wishing to vent, rather than spam. It is a little disappointing the moderators haven't removed the posts, but I suppose they have better things to do. I wonder if it could be easily automated? It should be possible to just remove the posts with the offending link, but I have no idea whether the forum software can do that, or made to using a script.

That is a rather sweeping statement. All five links you provided are from one single user, who has since been banned. I do agree that the posts should have been removed too, since they spread biased information. But your generalization that "this is how this forum works" is absurd.

I could go through and delete them but it takes time. Next time report them properly and it will be dealt with, as it is I have wasted time reading the stupid thread to see what you are up to and if I needed to ban you!
