Dave did talk about logic analyzers in one of his early blogs. Not sure if it included those specific models. My suggestion is to try the software before you buy, since this is a critical part of a PC-based logic analyzer.

Yes, he did make a general tutorial about them in #44.

Having scrolled through all blog post from latest to this one I must say searching for something in the blog is a real pain in the ass. For some reason searching for "logic analyzer" did not found any posts (there's "logic analyzer" in the post's title!), so I think it needs fixing (and the search field should be moved up so you don't have to scroll half of the page to see it) and maybe Dave should consider adding more keyword tags in the future posts? Just my $0.02.

He also has a really great blog (bottom of the page is a link) - worth reading. He shares alot about the design process there.  I think most EEVBlog viewers would enjoy it.

Searching for site:eevblog -forum logic analyzer on Google returns the correct episode. Guess the built-in search is useless, just like the forum search. Using Google often works much better.
