  • https://www.efabless.com/ eFabless is a new service for sharing a wafer and getting low cost custom chips. The low cost is the result of excess capacity.
  • It uses an online compiler called Yosys, the author of which was on our subreddit.

Multimeter chip with everything included for that crazy multichannel multimeter concept. ?
Maybe time to try out Indiegogo Flexible funding? A continuum for other crowdfunding campaigns done on Pozible and Kickstarter, now the second biggest player Indiegogo?

*Jeri is going to do it first, but she has done it before and technically not fully custom chip?

I think Chris mentioned they couldn't do mixed signal, but I'm not 100% sure.

Look at their page:

Mixed Signal Devices

• We design Analog/Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits & Systems.

If that's not true then it's some very misleading advertisement. I think they can do analog/mixed signal, but it's just not that trivial to do analog as it is digital, mostly because "Everyone can count to one!"  :-+
