Finding "Today" postings in a long list

When a reply is posted today is has the header

Would it be possible to have it like

so they would be easier to find new posts when scrolling down on a tablet or similar small screen?

Previous non-today posting dates to remain unchanged.

Why not use the new or go to last buttons?
