How to attach animated gif?
« on: November 20, 2022, 11:11:41 pm »
I'm wondering how to attach an animated gif so it works? I think there may be some filtering done by SMF that is getting in the way.

Consider this an experimental post where I try to figure out what works. [ Specified attachment is not available ]

Upload to https://gifyu.com then embed here.
Uploading gif files here will break them, they will no longer be animated and lose all frames.

Yeah, I have seen several complaints that the forum breaks them. It wasn't always like that and there are a few unmolested GIF attachments around.

It looks like you invented the same perpetual motion device I did, many years ago :-+ 8) ;D
