Just wondering if anyone else feels it would be a good idea to move the line that shows the forum section of a thread to be under the banner ads so you don't have to scroll up for ages to see if a PCB question you're reading is for Altium or Kicad etc..

I kinda feel that it belongs where I have the arrow in the pic below

Just use uBlock Origin.

I do but I have EEVblog on exclude list so Dave gets paid.

I'm lazy and don't bother scrolling to the top.  I just hover on any post's topic title and look at the URL in my browser's status bar!  :-DD

Dave already explained that it doesn't matter if you see the banner ads or not, he gets paid regardless.
Profile -> Modify profile -> Look and Layout ->  Don't show users' signatures
