New Posts - No New Posts - Bug

When I load the forum I always see the sinewave (New Posts) icon on every forum. When I click in the upper left on https://www.eevblog.com/forum/unread/ Show unread posts since last visit, there are no new posts listed. It happens periodically on two different PCs.

From what I understand, it's not a bug, it's a feature.
