Please let me...

Turn off the chat box on the home page of the forum. If you use the scroll wheel like I do, as soon as you get to the chat box you end up scrolling it instead of the forum window. Annoying!

I know that. When I hit the back button now my mouse is right in the chat box so when I use the scroll wheel I'm scrolling the chat box. It's a small thing, obviously, as all I have to do is move my mouse, but it's the small things that make sites, appliances, or whatever either a pleasure or a pain to use.

I find that the middle mouse button (open link in new tab) does not work anywhere on the forum front page now, so I have to remember to use ctrl+left button instead.

It appears to be a bug in Firefox 3.x that is triggered by the "contenteditable" property on the shoutbox input field:

Code: [Select]
<input id="NChat_input" onkeypress="if(event.keyCode == 13){ NChat_sender(); return false;}" style="width: 95%;" contenteditable="true">

If I didn't need javascript for anything else, that might be a solution.
