Title: Suggestion: Project threads
Post by: Dr Bob on September 22, 2022, 07:52:51 am
Dave, I'd love to see some project threads where you take an idea from initial concept to a finished design. Nothing super commercial, but projects that might be interesting for a dedicated hobbiest or professional. I'm working on ideas for home energy collection and management since the commercial products I find tend to be expensive, a poor fit, too complicated or are just missing a key feature that I can't add as there is no technical support (closed products). Julian Illet got me interested in his channel when he was working on his "MuPPeT" project. I really miss Louis at Scullcom since his projects were very interesting. Marco Reps, Great Scott and Andrew Spiess all do some very interesting stuff as well. I don't suggest that you do nothing but projects, but a few each year would be interesting.

Are you referring to threads (on this forum) or to videos (on YouTube et al.)?

OP is asking Dave to do project design videos.
