double post allowed with crowdfunded product? / wrong topic?

Hi,

I have posted my crowdfunding project in 'Crowd Funded Projects', but don't get answers on the questions I am asking:

Did I post it in the wrong topic? Would the community be OK with posting a reference in another topic? Or repost it in another topic?

Have you considered that there might be a lack of interest? Nothing wrong with the topic section, but the next two questions are moot since you've already included the link to the original thread. And if you're looking for feedback from Dave, why don't you simply ask him via a PM or email?

In terms of crowd funding announcement it was posted in the correct place, but in terms of getting early design or user feedback it would probably have been better if posted in either the test equipment or projects sections.

Contemporaneous double posts on the same topic are heavily frowned upon, but I think separate posts with design or similar questions and a later post about open sourcing or crowd funding the project would be OK.  Ideally the second post would be many months later after you worked through the feedback, and it should link back to the design topic for reference and to reduce repeated questions.

I don't see a value in posting in Projects unless its to discuss a schematic or specific design decision.
