New Forum Sponsor!
« on: July 28, 2011, 01:58:15 am »
As mentioned on the last Live show, we now have a forum sponsor!
I'm pleased to announce that Findchips.com (Supply Frame) are now sponsoring the forum and have replaced the google ads that used to be there.
I hope everyone finds this more useful than the Google ads, just type in the part number you want, and a new findchips.com window will open with the search results.
So if you like it, please use it and support the sponsor so they will continue the association for a long time to come. They really do help with paying the bills around here :D

Thanks.
Dave.

Congrats Dave! Will definitely use them.
Next step: get TI to sponsor you videos and we get to see your bench littered with black, white and red boxes littering your bench ;)

I like it! It even matches the forum's look. What I don't like are the adds on the main page. They look messy. Try aligning them and adding some sort of frame to the ones with a white background.

I already used it to find vendors selling the National LM3886 audio op amp. Very helpful!   8)

I use them a lot, but linked outside.  Now in here, I hope you get credit for each search!

Ahh, the things manufacturers do to earn a trademark...

And for those of you use use AdBlock (like me), remember to add eevblog to the disable list, so you can help support the site.

They will be watching the stats, but it's not a pay-per-search thing.
But yes, the more people search, the happier they will be!
Their goal is to get the Findchips brand out to a wider audience.

Dave.

I've used findchips for years a very handy site.  I'll gladly use them through the forum to show support.

Odd?? The Findchips panel doesn't show on my IE9 with no AdBlock; showed partly on Chrome where I had AdBlock running (now allowed) and didn't show at all on FF6with AdBlock until I allowed it.
Not the end of the world cos I usually use FF anyway, but a curious peculiarity.
