Where is the best place for plugging a product?

Hi!
I've got two long-term projects that will turn into products either this year or some time next year.
One is an RC hyper-realistic spider, the other is an advanced additive synthesizer piece of software.
The intention is to share pictures and get feedback on the RC spider in particular.
This will involve getting market information such as "where to sell?" and "how much would you pay for this?".
Unsure if this goes in the "project" section due to it being advertising and for-profit?
The whole thing is assembled in Australia, so if it takes off it would be a neat topic in an Australian electronics forum.
