« on: December 25, 2020, 11:39:12 pm »
Hello, recently I made a Bus pirate V4 , I soldered components , and I uploaded both bootloader and firmware respectively , I also installed INF file in device manager I've got an Error 10 msg .
when I plugged Bus pirate to my computer which has windows 7 on it , I see no msg or notification, nothing happened at all, even I'm sure that I programmed it correctelly.
I want jus to note that USB led is on all the time whenever bus pirate v4 is plugged to my laptop.
best regards
Why I have this Error 10 "device can't start" ?    (I'm sorry my windows is french one)
Please help me I don't know if the problem with my Bus pirate V4 or with windows 7  :-// ?.
Regards.

This appears to be driver compatibility issue,  Buspirate uses microchip part.  I don't what is the support status of Windows 7. But you can get latest driver or the one which works on windows 7 from microchip Archives.
