| µSupply in SMD |

Hi, this is my first post and I'm fairly new to the site so just let me say that the EEVblog is brilliant! The world needs more people like Dave. Now, I was wondering if the µSupply project could be converted to a SMD version. The reason I want to do that is that I have to design a PCB for a school project (Czech Technical University). It can be anything I like only the size must be 5cm*10cm at most. And by the looks of it the TH version looks larger. So what do you think? Could it be done? Or should I not waste my time trying ? The ySupply is now a smd version. It would be hard to fit in into a 5x10cm board. |

Really? As far as I know there are about 12 videos about the power supply project and it's all through hole design. Where did you find that it's smd ? Thanks |

Dave mentioned it a couple of times. Don;t if it was on a video or on a thread. Alexander. |

Today Dave posted a video clearly showing the new µSupply is using SMD. |
