$13 smartwatch teardown

So I decided to find out how is a $13 smartwatch possible. The answer is a $2 Mediatek ASIC and a lot of corner-cutting.

Thanks for sharing. I wonder how much is the margin revenue at that cost.

The raw material cost would be lower than that of $5-10 smartphones, but it won't have the same kind of economy of scale as those super cheap smartphones take advantage of.
