A video tour around my old time shop and ham shack

In this video we have a quick look around my shop and ham shack.  Most of my equipment is old and bough in non-working state.  I like buying stuff and repairing it to use for myself. Don’t expect to see a lot of flashy new gear here.  Hope you enjoy this cluttered mess I call my playground. I spend many hours in the shop and enjoy working on gear of all types. The old computers in the one room are using for programming Eproms like the 27C128 and 27C64 chips. These were used in some older radios.
With all this ld stuff Dave may think I am a grey beard  :scared:

I agree, that Owon needs to go lol. Honestly, when you did the first review on the Rigol DS1052E I thought I needed to get a DSO. At that time I could not afford the Rigol so went with the Owon.  Now I very seldom use it other than video capture. A few weeks later I picked up the two Tek 2235 scopes for about 25 bucks each. I think now I want the 1054z. The Owon, on a scale from 1 - 10, I give it a 5. For a 60 MHz scope I much prefer my old Sencore.


Every wall in the lab has either shelves or component cabinets on it.  So I decided to hinge it from the ceiling so I have access to it when doing videos. Worked out real nice.
