At long last my "lab" is atleast 80% done.
« on: November 05, 2018, 10:24:40 pm »
Hi,a while back i posted about how i was trying to find a better place for my repair bench/lab,
well at long last and breaking my back putting tables and carpet down, the "lab" is almost done.
Tell me what you think and if you have any idea how to solve the wires hanging nightmare.
Thanks.

Alex.

You mean the test lead wires hanging nightmare, you don't mention in the video ?

Only solution I've seen involved a long cupboard with a long horizontal strip of bent plastic with slits cut in to hang the cables from.

I suppose you could also make a system of plastic bags/bins just large enough to hold one cable coiled up, with the opening at the top.

I use this type of rack for my test cables which works well for all the different probes and connectors

Nice space you have. Try searching for deals on Pomona test lead racks. They start at about $13 US on Amazon.
