In this video, I walk you through the steps of how I fixed a common issue in PIR motion detection sensors. This sensor had a faulty bulging electrolytic capacitor and a 470nF MKT/Polyester type capacitor that had lost its capacitance to 350nF, causing it to fail to deliver adequate current to the circuit and causing instability. It was not mandatory, but I replaced the rest of the electrolytic capacitors with new JWCO branded capacitors as well, which are good in quality, but cheap and affordable, not as expensive as Rubycon or Nichicon.
