DIY Universal AC-DC Power Supply Circuit | 12V 3A (36W)

In this video, I showcase my universal input (85V-260V AC) to 12V-3A DC Flyback power supply, delivering 36W of stable output power. The PWM controller runs at 65kHz switching frequency, optimized for efficiency and reliability. I used a 650V Mosfet to drive the transformer.

 can a similar thing be built without custom transformer?
