Interesting RGB driver from one constant current source
« on: February 15, 2019, 09:30:14 am »
Interesting to me, anyway  ;D

This is the first time I've come across this method used in practice since it relies on some fast response from the buck regulator. The method for driving the LEDs with an overall lower voltage is quite novel too.

I remember reading a paper about a LED driver design for a sequential RGB LCD display. Nice idea but making LCDs that transition fast enough is easier said than done.
