A couple of years ago I started messing around trying to make an electronics YouTube channel whilst I was on Covid furlough. I came across a seller on eBay selling parts from an airlines scrap planes and spare parts storage so I bought a few of his items as they were really cheap. Previously I've bought some RAF Tornado and Nimrod parts and sought help with item used for mission debriefing here in the past. That item was scrapped btw and was used to make various electronics projects.
Anyway I thought those that have not repaired avionics would like to see the sort of engineering level that goes into these things. In this example I have a Symbol Generator from a BAE146. This box produced the graphics and symbols for the cockpit CRT displays from the aircraft data. I've linked my blog post below.
Thought I'd share it. Not a shameful blog promotion (honest)
