I was, of course, mostly interested in the latter, but I was also interested in how modular systems were informed by his earlier experiences. He was a very nice person and active in the local Dallas-Fort Worth computing scene.

One of my friends has a complete VIS system still operational and got a lot of help and support from him.

He will be missed.
