Wavetek 859 Pulse Generator Teardown and Repair

I recently did a teardown and repair of a Wavetek 859 50 MHz pulse generator.





This is a really old school pulse generator (made in the 80's), but is still a nice equipment to have in the lab. If you want to read my blog posts rather than watching the video, you can find them on http://www.kerrywong.com.

By the way, does anyone by any chance know the GPIB command format for this unit? It would probably be much easier accessing it through GPIB than via the front panel.
