Wavetek 859 Pulse Generator Teardown and Repair

I recently did a teardown and repair of a Wavetek 859 50 MHz pulse generator.
This is a really old school pulse generator (made in the 80's), but is still a nice equipment to have in the lab. If you want to read my blog posts rather than watching the video, you can find them on

By the way, does anyone by any chance know the GPIB command format for this unit? It would probably be much easier accessing it through GPIB than via the front panel.
