Hi there!!!
I saw a HP80 Calculator, with B/W Graphics
and am trying to find it's model number???
It, looks like the original keypad layout, but
with larger screen.

Maybe you mean HP85, not HP80 ? HP80 was a handheld with 7-seg LED display in the same series as the HP35.

There were a few variants of the HP85. Maybe you saw the HP87 with a similar layout but wider screen, or the Hp86 where a separate screen sits on top.

Yeah, I found what I was looking for.A HP48 Series Graphical
Calculator, originally built between 1990-1995.
It's got a Emulator for both Android & Windows!!

   HP spent a lot of time researching and optimizing the keyboard layout before they built the first HP hand held calculator, the HP-35, and they stuck with the same layout for decades.  There is a good article about HP's keyboard design and construction in one of the old HP Journals from about 1973. I think the same edition that introduced the HP-35.  You should look it up and read it.

Ah, a completely different beast then than the HP80 or HP85 stuff.

I have a HP48G+, but the LCD display is dead. Kind of sad. And opening it is not an easy task. I damaged the casing a little bit while doing so, only to realize that repairing the LCD itself is a lost cause, so if I wanted to fully repair it, I would have to pretty much replace both the LCD display and the casing. Basically, the main PCB is all that's left 100% intact now. It's in good shape though.

Yes, though the 48 is possibly closer in style to the 80 than the 85 !

The 48 display does have a reputation for dying due to separation of the connection. Some examples can be fixed with pressure on the case. I have an HP 50g (an evolution of the HP48) that has a similar problem, but the HP50 case is much easier to take apart than the heat-staked HP48.

Simon, there are many others in the series though some of the later models were disappointing to the very large enthusiast base. As far as HP is concerned, the HP Prime is the current model but many people still prefer earlier models. Collecting any of them is a slippery slope .
