Searching for Step up LED driver
« on: December 24, 2020, 05:22:11 pm »
I'm looking for something similar to PR4401 - Boost Driver for LEDs , but available through one of the big distributors (Mouser, Digikey, Arrow, LCSC).  This Prema IC is SOT23-3 and only requires a small 10-47 uH inductor to drive an LED from 0.9 volts.  The downside is that it's not available from the typical distributors I'm aware of.

Is there a similar component in terms of functionality, size, cost, and additional components?  I've spent some time browsing through Digikey and Mouser, but I haven't found anything that works with only a single additional component.

I googled for "three pin" boost led driver, which got me to a stackexchange post, which mentioned the ZXSC380 from Diodes Inc available at Mouser and Digikey (and CL0117, which is not).
