LED identification
« on: May 28, 2016, 03:22:44 am »
I have a few salvaged LEDs from an unknown device. No markings on them at all.

I'd like to see if anyone has any idea how much power I could safely run them at.

I realize it will be impossible to tell exactly what they are, but if anyone recognizes the package type, die shape, etc and knows roughly what such LED packages would typically be rated for.

I'm going to assume these should be rated for at least 3 watts, considering they were attached to small heatsinks in the device they came out of.
