1-wire iButton reader interrupt to host?

Hi,
Does anybody know if there is some specific way to detect that a iButton has been connected and detected? Surely the host does not need to keep polling all the time...?
I am asking because I am using this 1-wire to I2C bridge IC:
https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ds2482-100.pdf
I would like to use that IC but the same question applies to this other reader IC:
https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ds28e17.pdf
I am going to use it exclusively to read iButton fobs for people ID like they use in most bars/pubs (see attached picture).
Thank you
