I got a mainbord for a LG TV.
This component above givs me a unstable pwr_on signal. Something is wrong and i located the signal to this chip.
Anyone knowing what kind of chip it is? Some say voltage regulator? Some say it is i microcontroller. I would guess the last one is right.??!!!!
That means that i can not replace it with another chip i have that sais 100GEA 728UZ03 ?? It needs to be programed first.
Can someone please confirm this?
I cant find proper information on the web regarding this chip 100GEA 420FZ0S
The chip looks like this one....but the markings is not the same...

You're right to exercise caution when it comes to mainboard repairs for your LG TV. We can analyze the following depending on your description:
The Issue:
The power-on signal on the mainboard of your LG TV is erratic.
You think there may be a problem with a certain chip (designated 100GEA 420FZ0S).
Problems:
It is challenging to determine the precise chip function—microcontroller or voltage regulator—without a schematic or service manual for your particular LG TV model.
Even if the chip is accurately identified, replacing it could be difficult.

100GEA looks like a programmable gate array. Definitely need the correct configuration on it to work.
