hi guys, im trying too build my own opto isolators, because i need a base driver with incredible ruggedness. this version of my h-brigde ,is 10w led's triggering garden solar light panels, using chipstick and hotglue. amusingly the prototype worked very well, so i got some bigger solar cells from bunnings. but i dont know if it is possible too determine the BASE current requirements for my 1000v, 10ma motor. (base drive requirements,) feel free too laugh, ~~ i am ;-D https://pasteboard.co/IrsWWiB.jpg |

Well I have some more Data for my Question ; Q ; How much drive current is required keep a Base Junction Charged. when driving my motor @ 1000v and between 1 and 20 ma First hotglue prototype as mentioned above, resulted in lost torque from the motor, Second prototype as below, with green LED's and upgraded solar panels for gate drive, has restored the lost mechanical torque pictures of the apparatus @ 11mins the gate drive coming out of the solar panels, has now increased too 13ma shorted. and 4.5volts open circuit. |
