2D plot of LED intensity at given distance on flat surface
« on: March 30, 2020, 09:30:05 am »
What is a good way to display the conversion from radiation pattern  to illumination at some distance?

Variables are flux (W), distance (m)

I'd like to arrange multiple LEDs for reasonable eveness of illumination, and also look at effect of distance. I'd only use 1/distance^2, ignoring dispersion.

I was thinking of say a colour-coded or graded shading representing flux, then overlapping those patterns in an image editor.

Notice the OPPOSITE DEFINITIONS of "angle" between Luminous and Klaran. What is most usual?
