| 3.5mm headphone jack 3p/4p temperature sensor standard? |

| mairo:
Hi all, Is there a standard for the pin-out of a 3.5mm headphone jack 3p/4p when used with temperature sensor, particularly in the power wiring? Mainly 1-Wire based digital sensors, but if there is something for analog ones (e.g. MCP9700 based ..), I am also interested to know. The only information I found was from iTead on some Sonoff probes: https://www.itead.cc/wiki/Sonoff_Sensor_Si7021 and some tread in which the circuitry for the power seems flipped when compared to the one from iTead/Sonoff tread above: http://rants.dyer.com.hk/rpi/1wire.html Thank you |

It looks like the first link uses a 2.5mm, not a 3.5mm, connector. I've seen meat cooking probes also use a 2.5mm connector for the thermistor, but I'm guessing that's not the type of temperature sensor you're after. |
