4D Systems IoD-09TH LCD Display Module
« on: May 27, 2020, 02:22:21 am »
Hi guys,

I'm looking for a small display that will fit in an old-school (we are talking 20 year old VZJ95) Toyota switch blank (21mm x 39mm).

Closest thing I have found that will foot the bill is this:  https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/lcd-colour-displays/1647079  But this isn't a raw display, it's a whole 'internet of display' thing, 99% of which I won't need.  Has anyone else used them or had experience of them?  I'm trying to find out if it's easy to address the display directly via something like SPI or serial.  I'm a PIC fanboy so would just do my sensor stuff (analog measurement and 1-wire sensors) on a PIC for simplicity then interface to this - or at least that would be my plan.

If you know of any other small displays that would fit the above size I'd be interested to hear about them.  Don't really have any other constraints at this stage, colour is not mandatory.  It's just a hobby project :)

Thank you.
