Anyone still make radio buttons?
« on: May 26, 2019, 09:20:57 pm »
Hi,

Does anyone still make radio buttons, i.e. an array of push buttons where if you push one in, the others pop out?

Thanks,
   Bob

Search ‘Multi Station Switch’ on element 14. They have a couple of 4-way buttons.

Thank you! Looks like Switchcraft sells models with up to 18 switches. They ain't cheap, though.

How many are you looking for and how many positions?

Ten or 12 positions, and I'd just be making one unit.

Also look for push-button ganged switch bank, or simply ganged switch bank, or multi-key push-button switch. It is being produced by C&K, besides Switchcraft, for instance.

I've got a couple of 10 position Switchcraft units that are the lighted ones. They use a 327 type bulb but you don't have to use the bulb if you don't need it. One of the switches has all 10 caps. The other one only has 4 caps, other 6 must have gotten lost over the years. They are about 30 years old but should be fine if you clean the contacts. Switchcraft switches have always been top quality. The switches are 7 inches long and 1.1 inch wide.

I also have three 4 position UID (no longer in business) switches. Two of them have square caps on the other one has round caps.

I will never use them and you are welcome to them if you want them. If interested, PM me with your shipping address.

Search for ITT Schadow, they make them as a DIY kit with any number of positions.
