Bluetooth Serial Link? cheapest wireless replacement for 115200 BAUD?

Hi gang

I just want a simple / transparent wireless serial replacement link. Bluetooth chips at booth ends, transporting serial.
Doesnt have to be super fast, reliably doing 115200 bidirectional is fine. if faster than great.

SERIAL -- BT IC ----- (wireless) ----- BT IC -- SERIAL

or

USB COM VIRTUAL SERIAL SUPPORTED BT IC ----- (wireless) ----- BT IC -- SERIAL

Whats the cheapest way / IC for doing this?

The Qualcomm CSR101* range seem pretty cheap from checking Octopart

Are there any cheap (chinese?) dedicated ICs that do this?
what IC is used here for example?

LM Technologies makes modules, but they aren't that cheap.

go with hc-05/hc-06....they are cheap and efficient for low cost projects....

On the device end, HC-05.

On the computer end, you can use whatever Bluetooth chipset your computer can accept. Since I am a Mac user I usually use the built in Bluetooth. On my Windows workstation it was the Bluetooth function of my Intel Wireless AC 7260 adapter. And I have an older USB Bluetooth dongle on my Linux workstation.

When paired, the HC-05 shows up on the computer as a serial port.
