Any PowerPC or Sparc device that is not that large?
« on: April 11, 2019, 03:53:55 am »
Hi.
As title said, most of those servers are as big as a travel suitcase, and as heavy as 20kg or so, are there any device that is smaller and lighter? I know there are some routers use PowerPC, but they don't have video output.
Thanks.

An old macbook or a nintendo game cube would be an easy way to get a PowerPC in a portable form factor.

There were a handful of sparc laptops made, I think they were somewhat popular in the oil and gas industry.

An old G4 (PPC7400) Mac mini?

What’s the use case?

Sparcstation IPC, IPX, Classic and related models if you don't mind vintage.
