Unknown connector challenge...
« on: April 10, 2020, 02:32:55 pm »
Hi,

I would like to pass the cable of my robot mower base station through a cable duct, but the factory cable is too short.
As the connectors are crimped and I don't want to void the warranty, I'm looking for a pair of connectors to make an extender, but I have never seen such a connector:

More hi-res pictures, with a metric scale, are available in this Google Photo album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Ts1BB9jCBx1puyTS7

Does anybody have an idea what standard it is, or where I could find one ?
Any hint or comment would be greatly appreciated,

Vicne

Most likely a PDL TE variant, here's something similar for the panel, didn't spent to much time to look for the exact cable to cable version, but here's a starting point (it may even be compatible with what you want to do if you don't care about the panel locks):

Wow, seems it is exactly what I was looking for, DC1MC, thanks !
The precise plug model seems to be this one https://www.te.com/global-en/product-179463-1.html and the socket side https://www.te.com/global-en/product-177898-1.html.
Now I just have to find them in Europe, but that won't be an issue.
Edit : Digikey has them. Cool :-)

Thanks very much !
