AC coupled gate drive vs negative bias to driver, pros and coins?

Hi folks,
I need a negative turn off voltage for gate drive
Wonder is here any main disadvantage for capacitor coupled with clamp vs more complicated generating negative voltage and then have gate drive supporting negative voltage directly
Duty cycle limitation is not a concern here as this is for boost converter
-5 to 15V swing shall be enough, so max drive voltage is also not a problem here
