I recently obtained a Switch LED bulb, it's claim to fame is that the area around the LEDs is filled with a liquid to provide cooling. Sort of like people who fill aquariums with mineral oil and then dip a PC into the tank I guess. Liquids are excellent at conducting heat away from electronics.
On first glance it appears to meet specs, which is more than I can say about some of the early bulbs I sourced out of China a few years ago...
Does anyone know how to drill through glass to be able to insert a thermal probe into the body of the lamp?
