SesCom SIP modules
« on: November 06, 2024, 05:48:27 pm »
Does anyone have any info about the "SIP" modules from SesCom?
There were around 20 different postage-stamp-size modules:  SIP-1, SIP-2, etc.....
They were (mostly/all) audio-related.
SesCom is no longer in the business of selling these modules and other "maker"-type products.

I would like to revive these modules and make them available open-source on the popular PCB vendors.

Don't know much about them, and can't find my catalogs from that period, but I have a Sescom RS-SB dual balanced-unbalance box that has a SIP-1 in it. I think it says copyright 1991.

I was given the RS-SB and was looking for info on it some years ago. I recall seeing an old catalog with some modules listed, but I think the modules were only around for a short time.
