Title: Battery Testing service in Australia
Post by: tomshirvo on January 24, 2016, 10:35:04 pm
Good Morning All,

Got some batteries made for some in house systems but before we purchase more I need to do some testing on them to make sure they are the specs we need.

We don't have the correct equipment to do the testing with so I am wondering if anyone knows of someone that we could pay to do the testing on the battery.

It is really just testing of the discharge to make sure that the capacity of the batteries are what we asked for.

Thanks

I can't recommend anyone, but it is easy to do it yourself. One way is this: http://www.westmountainradio.com/product_info.php?products_id=cba4 (http://www.westmountainradio.com/product_info.php?products_id=cba4) (I have one).

Or, get one of those Maynuo (sp?) load testers mentioned on the forum.

+1 for the West Mountain Radio units, I have one and use it a lot.

Where a bouts are you located? I am in Western Australia and if you only need to do a few verification tests I can put it on my CBA4
